Coaching Points
- Start with your kicking foot on top of the ball. The sole of the foot should be resting comfortably on the ball slightly further towards the toes
- Your standing leg should be to side of the ball helping you to remain balanced
- Switch positions – Quickly lift the knee of the standing leg placing the sole of the foot (more towards the toes) whilst the other leg comes back down to the side of the ball to keep you balanced
- This should then be repeated continuously
- Try to go as fast as possible whilst remaining balanced and making firm contact with the top of the ball with your toes
- Pump the arms simultaneously in order to gain more speed
